Super 8 is a Motel 6 style setup, but it is a little nicer than Motel 6, and the nicer restaurants in Stockton are along March Lane, these include: Old Spaghetti Factory (which has a Stockton Streetcar theme) Tony Roma's, Marie Callendar's, Applebee's, El Toritos, Black Angus, Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse. plus Denny's, Carrows, and just about every fast food place around. The Calrailfans E-group meets at Tio Pepe's for Dinner

Quick note on the map below, While Alpine runs all the way between Interstate 5 and the Winterail site, please note the little jog around the University of the Pacific that you must make as they (UOP) closed the road to through traffic if you are coming down Alpine.

Railfan & Railroad now sponsors the Friday night Pizza and Slide show. This year the show will be at the Scottish Rite Temple (Winterail Location). Admission is 7.00 and includes Pizza and Soda on a first come first served basis. (IE when the Pizza is gone, the pizza is gone). No food or drink is allowed inside the Auditorium.

Calrailfans will have their annual Winterail Dinner at Casa Flores Mexican Restaurant located at the intersection of Hammer Lane and Tam O Shanter Drive.
